The story of this project starts from my peeling paint on the bathroom wall.

As a poor family immigrating from Russia, my parents couldn't afford buying a house, and through all my life we had to move from one rented apartment to another.  The first and last thing to do when you move- is to paint a wall. The layers of my peeling wall got me thinking about all the history one wall holds, all the hands it went through. My designs are inspired by the many layers of the walls, from the builders, the base and last coat.
